The Coach line started with basic silhouettes and high quality leather that seemed to last forever. Few baby boomers started there first job after college without carrying a basic Coach Handbag or Briefcase. With this fashion accessory people new you were serious and on your way up the corporate latter. Those were the days you carried the same bag all the time. That was ok because you were stylish carrying affordable luxury.

Like the women who read them, fashion magazines come in all sizes and varieties. One size does not fit all and the question of whether Vogue is far better than Elle, or if W Magazine is superior to them all is highly subjective.

Over the years fashion magazines have evolved with the times. Editors have worked hard to establish an audience within a very crowded but popular market. If you’re like me, you like to switch up your style every few months and if you’re like me, you probably lose things quite a bit, so spending that much money on one accessory that you might not even like come November, seems a bit silly.
